Sarah Robinson OBE, Principal and Chief Executive of Stoke on Trent College.

Sarah has led Stoke on Trent College since 2009, having previously been Principal and Chief Executive of Darlington College between 2001 and 2009. Sarah has held a wide variety of roles within Further Education, and is the Chair of Discovery Academy in Stoke on Trent.

The college have applied to establish a Studio School in September 2012.

Nigel Leigh

Nigel Leigh, Principal and Chief Executive of Stephenson College.

Nigel has been the Principal and Chief Executive of Stephenson College in Coalville, North West Leicestershire since the 1st October 2007. He has worked in colleges in Sunderland, Buxton, Birmingham and Nuneaton in senior roles in curriculum, quality, and human resources.

Ian Stanley

Ian has been a partner with Allen & Overy for over 20 years.

David Frost

David Frost is Chair of the Studio Schools Trust. He has been Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) since January 2003.

Prior to this he was Chief Executive of Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and Business Link.

David is Chairman of the National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship. He is a Board Member of Ufi/Learn Direct and also a member of the National Employer Advisory Board for the Reserve Forces.

Jane Samuels

Jane has worked for Edge for over 5 years and is Project and Operations Manager. Jane was responsible for setting up and the ongoing implementation of Edge’s project management system as well as working on a number of specific projects.

Peter Mitchell

Peter Mitchell is Director of Education at Edge.

Peter was a head teacher for 18 years in Staffordshire and Walsall. During that time he was seconded to lead a school in special measures. Peter was a founding trustee of Edge and is now its Education Director.
